Our staff at the CVNM family of organizations is saddened and outraged by the events taking place on our borders. We have heard from many of our supporters that they want to know more about how they can get involved and fight back. Here is some information from our allied organizations who work on immigration issues.
There are multiple upcoming events regarding the separation of families at the border, some happening this weekend and throughout next week.
A march and rally to hold CSI Aviation accountable for transporting the families being separated on the border is being put on by Chinga La Migra NM today (Friday) at 3pm. Check the Facebook event here for more details.
Join our partners at the Land Port of Entry in Tornillo, Texas (45 minutes from the El Paso airport) on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at 9:00 AM MT to demand an end to family separations. Voto Latino will lead a rally of religious leaders, elected officials, human rights advocates, and influencers to keep up the pressure on this administration until they eliminate the “zero-tolerance” policy.
