Here’s another chance to get on-site training for how to best lobby your legislators, get fact sheets on the issues and opportunities to try out your skills at the Roundhouse. Advocate for the issues you care about by attending this Friday.
Friday, Feb. 27: Renewable Energy Lobby Day
8:30 a.m. Hearing on bill that guts Renewable Energy Requirements. Room 309. House Energy, Environment and Natural Resources Committee.
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Rotunda: Information tables from clean-energy and climate groups
9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m.: Lobby trainings and practice. Meet at Sierra Club table.
Noon: PRESS CONFERENCE in the Rotunda with Sierra Club Executive Director Michael Brune
