(Santa Fe, NM) – Conservation Voters New Mexico (CVNM) will host a press conference call to release our statewide 2013-2014 Conservation Scorecard on Tuesday, July 15. The Scorecard provides objective, nonpartisan information about votes cast on the most critical conservation issues faced by the 51st Legislature. In the Scorecard, CVNM assesses the impact of the sessions on New Mexico’s air, land, water and healthy communities. It also provides New Mexicans an evaluation of the conservation performance of the Governor.
What: Release of CVNM’s 2013-2014 Conservation Scorecard. The website will be live 24 hours in advance for information purposes only at CVNM.org/Scorecard.
Who: CVNM Executive Director Demis Foster will discuss the unconventional environmental issues CVNM tackled during the 2013 and 2014 legislative sessions. CVNM Political Director Victor Reyes will discuss Gov. Susana Martinez’s conservation performance. CVNM Communications Manager Liliana Castillo will introduce CVNM, the Scorecard, and our speakers to the audience.
