Civic Engagement Associate
Percy Byron Anderson was born in Gallup, attending schools at Manuelito and Gallup, and finally with the University of New Mexico. Percy currently is a Navajo Nation Chapter Official with Manuelito Navajo Chapter community and a board member of the New Mexico Social Justice Equity Institute located in Gallup and Chichiltah. He has worked at the local, state, federal and tribal levels. As a community advocate and organizer, he focuses on policy and legislative changes from the grassroots level, community gardening and farming, recovery for those battling addictions, and economic benefits for families and individuals who desire to work from home and market their skills from the community level.
