Lobbyist
Born and raised in NM and a UNM Graduate, Jason worked eight years in the judicial branch before moving into legislative advocacy. He and his brother have been avid fly fishermen and outdoorsmen since childhood, which has taken them all over this beautiful state. His reverence for New Mexico’s uniquely beautiful lands has grown even more since he started his conservation policy work. Having (almost literally) grown up in the Roundhouse has given him an exceptional level of exposure to and knowledge of how the legislature and New Mexico state government works. Jason takes pride in operating in such a specialized field of work. He lives in Albuquerque with his wife, Dawn, who is a music therapist, and their two dogs.
