Action Alert: SB 21 Passes House Energy 5-4, Help Get us Across the Finish Line!

In the coming days  the House floor will be voting to pass SB 21 –  Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Act! As you probably know, in 2023, the Supreme Court released a devastating ruling that eliminated federal safeguards for our waterways by gutting the Clean Water Act. SB 21 would put water quality management in local, New Mexican hands responsive to our waters’ unique conditions and needs.

Response to Trump Endangerment Finding Rollback

February 12, 2026

Today, the Trump Administration rescinded the Endangerment finding, which eliminates the Environmental Protection Act’s requirement to protect people from the pollution that causes climate change. The finding, instated in 2009, is the legal underpinning for nearly all climate regulations under the Clean Air Act for vehicles, power plants, and other pollution sources.
