CVNM – Endorsements

In order to pass strong laws that protect New Mexico’s air, land and water, we believe it is critical to elect pro-environmental candidates.

Endorsement Process

The CVNM endorsement process aims to reinforce accountability and achieve the strongest possible climate, conservation, and democracy policy outcomes in the state Legislature. To achieve this goal, we strive to ensure that the process is methodical, predictable, and based on consistent data and objective criteria. The process is conducted separately for the Primary and General elections. Endorsements are not automatically given. Our goal is to identify the candidates who represent the best opportunity to enact pro-climate and pro-conservation policy. To find out more about our endorsement process, click here.
