CVNM Action Fund

In order to pass strong laws that protect New Mexico’s air, land and water, we believe it is critical to elect pro-environmental candidates.

CVNM Action Fund

CVNM Action Fund is a nonpartisan “coordinated” political action committee (PAC) that works to elect pro-conservation candidates and to defeat anti-conservation candidates at the state level up to the amount allowed by New Mexico campaign finance laws. Through our work with CVNM Action Fund, we let voters know that—for New Mexico’s air, land, water and communities—who we elect matters. By donating to CVNM Action Fund you send a message to candidates that you care about environmental issues. Through our Action Fund you are giving to pro-environmental advocacy efforts.

Endorsement Process

CVNM Action Fund’s endorsement process aims to reinforce accountability and achieve the strongest possible climate, conservation, and democracy policy outcomes in the state Legislature. To achieve this goal, we strive to ensure that the process is methodical, predictable, and based on consistent data and objective criteria. The process is conducted separately for the Primary and General elections. Endorsements are not automatically given. Our goal is to identify the candidates who represent the best opportunity to enact pro-climate and pro-conservation policy. To find out more about our endorsement process, click here.
