Action Alert: Help Stop LNG Export in New Mexico!

January 14, 2025

New Mexico is a national leader in natural gas production. Liquified natural gas, or LNG for short, is a supercooled form of the fossil fuel that allows it to be more readily stored and transported. Action Alert: Help New Mexico reach crucial climate goals

November 12, 2024

On November 21, the Public Regulation Commission (PRC) will meet to hear public comments on a proposed rulemaking to take the next step to ensure New Mexico’s rural electricity providers generate electricity sourced by renewable energy. Press Release: Local Democracy Advocacy Groups Thank City Council for Upholding Veto of Undemocratic Election Measure

August 6, 2024

The Biden-Harris Administration has made clear that conserving land, water and wildlife for future generations is an absolute priority.
The nature crisis and the climate crisis are inextricably linked. Conserving our land and water, and at the same time supporting communities in the necessary and inevitable transition away from dependence on fossil fuels, are priorities that the previous administration not only ignored, but moved backwards on.
